BASFDF is in the process of organising Pan Explosion and needs your support to make it yet another success. Remember that this competition encourages young pannists to develop their composing, arranging and playing skills and techniques thus building a sound foundation for the continuity of this wonderful artform far into the future. 

Come on pan lovers let us do our best to promote and support this and all other Pan Events

BASFDF PRESENTS THEIR 12TH ANNUAL PAN EXPLOSION COMPETITION

ON THE 30TH MAY 2009 AT THE UKCCA CENTRE

3 St Mary’s Road, Luton LU1 3JA

         Admission - £5
Time: 5:00p.m. - 11:00p.m.

Come and witness some of the UK's leading steelbands and soloists competing for the coveted Champion titles. There will also be a DJ and the guest steel band is the UKCCA Revelers with a featured steelpan soloist from Trinidad and Tobago.

        The competition will be followed by dancing until midnight

       Bar and Caribbean food will be available
