Trinidad and Tobago Steelband Panorama Single an Finalists 2016

San Juan East Side Symphony retained the top spot position in the Panorama Single Pan Semis held on Friday evening.  With the Duvone Stewart arrangement of Christopher Herbert’s “No No We Eh Going Home”, the band went on to score 276 points, four points ahead of its nearest rivals.

In second spot was Marsicans and T&T Defence Force with 272 points for their rendition of “Say Say “ and “Don’t Stop the Party” respectively.

Thirty two (32) bands competed until the wee hours of Saturday morning, all with the singular goal of impressing the six panel adjudication team comprising Kenrick Noel, Joanna Shortt, Jeanette Johnson, Bernadette Roberts, Michelle Dowrich and Vorbin Cordice for a spot in the Grand Finals.

The seventeen (17) finalists are:-

The above seventeen (17) steelbands will join ten (10) Small Conventional Bands in the Petrotrin National Panorama Single and Small Bands Finals at Skinner Park, San Fernando, on Thursday 04 February 2016, from 6:00pm.
